Nail Clipping
Regular nail inspection, with clipping or trimming when required, should be part of the routine care of your pet. When dogs are active on hard surfaces such as gravel, rock and concrete, their nails may not need trimming as regularly as those who aren’t.
Cats also require nail clipping, with the frequency depending on their lifestyle. Indoor-only cats may need more regular nail trims whereas outdoor cats may naturally wear their nails down and require less frequent trimming.
Nail trim appointments are available to book with our friendly nurses.

Nutritional Advice
Along with regular exercise and veterinary care, good nutrition is the best way you can contribute to your pet's prolonged good health.
We offer a variety of diets in the clinic, ranging from regular premium food, to prescription diets for specific illnesses.
We also offer a Weight Loss Program, where a nurse calculates and provides you with a feeding plan for your overweight pet, as well as regular weigh-in appointments.
Our nurses, vets or receptionists are all equipped with knowledge to recommend the correct food for your pet.

Microchipping
A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected under your pet’s skin, usually on their back near the shoulders. The microchip is embedded with a code unique to your pet and is the most effective form of permanent identification. This code is placed onto a national computer database, so it is particularly useful in the return of lost pets.
If your pet is not microchipped please make an appointment to have one inserted. Please note, while we register the microchip for you, this is not the same as council registration, which is your responsibility to complete separately. To place a microchip, the owner must have a Source Number. You can get one of these from the Pet Exchange Register, by clicking here.
