Puppy School Program
Our Puppy School Program takes on new classes each month and run for 4 weeks with a one-hour class per week.
Currently this program is run by one of our nurses, Marni, who has been involved in this since the start of 2023. She has lots of knowledge and experience in training puppies (and owners) and loves to see their personalities develop and grow over each set of classes, as well as seeing owners become more confident with training.
See below to read more about the main elements of our Puppy School Program: Puppy Education, Socialisation and Owner Education.

Puppy Education
Puppies in our program learn lots of cues and commands for every day life, as well as a couple of party tricks! From sit, stay, lie down all the way to shake hands and roll over!
Teaching and practicing tricks like these is a great way to build a bond with your puppy, and spend time with them having fun while also giving them some mental stimulation.
-
Socialisation
Puppy School is a great way to introduce your puppy to new people and other dogs, and allow them to socialise and play.
In addition, socialisation for puppies can include getting used to new environments! By having our classes in the vet clinic, your puppy can learn that it is a safe place, and not just somewhere they get needles or have procedures!

Owner Education
In between practicing and learning new things with the puppies, we also take the time to share some education with owners around the general health and wellbeing of dogs and puppies.
We also welcome questions at any time, whether it be related to content of the class or a health question, we are here to help! Our classes are run by vet nurses who can give sound advice.
